Who Uses The I9 Form 2021
All new employees are required by law to fill out an i9 form 2021 every day. Within three days of the employee’s first day of work, the business must verify the employee’s qualification and recognition files and also tape-record the information on the I-9 Form.
If the employee is unable to read or write English, the form gives the option for a translator to complete the form.
If you’re or were any one of the following, please complete 2021 I9
- Employed before Nov. 6, 1987 (or earlier, if there is work in the Republic of North Mariana Islands), and have an affordable assumption of any work.
- Lay-back residential operations in one’s own house.
- An independent specialist.
- A specialist offering agreement solutions, such like a temp agent, may use this method.
- You should not be working with U.S. soil.
If you’re self-employed, you won’t be required to provide an I-9 form.
