Blank I-9 Form – An i9 Form 2021 is a federal form used to verify if a staff person is authorized to work within the United States. All employees must submit supporting documentation to prove their compliance.
What Is An I9 Form 2021?
Blank I-9 Form, Employers provide a new-hire document, the i9-2021, also known by an Employment Eligibility Verification Form.
The I-9 forms are used to verify an employee’s identity as well as to establish whether the person is qualified to benefit the business. It was developed by DHS, the USA Citizenship and Immigration Services industry. Every American worker must complete the I-9 form.
Who Uses An I9 Form 2021
All new employees will need to complete an i9 2021 form during their first day of work. Within three days of an employee’s first day at work, the employer must verify his or her qualifications and acknowledgment files. The I-9 Form also needs to be tape-recorded.
If the employee is unable to read or write English, the form gives the option for a translator to complete the form.
You must fill out Blank I-9 Form if you are or were one of the following:
- You must be employed before or on Nov. 6, 1986 or on or after Nov. 27, 2007, if you are still working in the Republic of North Mariana Islands.
- Relaxed residential operations in a private house.
- An independent specialist.
- Used by specialists who offer agreement solutions such as a temp agency.
- Do not work with U.S. dirt.
If you are self-employed, your I-9 forms won’t be required.
