All new employees must complete the i9 Form 2021 during the workday. Within three days of the employee’s first day of work, the business must verify the employee’s qualification and recognition files and also tape-record the information on the I-9 Form.
If the employee cannot read or write English properly, the form offers the option to have a translator or legal preparer complete it on his behalf.
